NON-CERTIFICATE COURSES IN CON LAW PENSION LAW AND COMPETITION LAW (WITS)
Craig was admitted as an advocate in 1987 and commenced practice as a member of the Johannesburg Bar in July 1987. His practice at the Bar has focused on contractual disputes, administrative law and employment law disputes, including pension law.
In October 2002 Craig took Silk. He is currently serving his fourth non-consecutive term as a member of the Johannesburg Bar Council and is extensively involved in pupilage and advocacy skills training.
In order to remain abreast with developing fields of practice, Craig attended non-certificate courses presented by the Wits Law School in Constitutional Law, Pension Law and most recently, Competition Law. In January 2008 he attended and successfully completed the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Commercial Mediation course.
Craig has acted as a mediator and has represented clients in several mediations, having frequently recommended assisted mediation to his clients as the preferred method of dispute resolution. He completed the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Mediation course with a view to becoming more actively involved as a mediator in commercial disputes.
Craig is based in Johannesburg.
