Lisa is an admitted attorney with 15 years' experience in employment law. She has been a director in a law firm and currently practices for her own account. Lisa is focused solely on employment law with an emphasis on drafting of contracts and policies; advising on business restructuring, mergers and sales; chairing disciplinary enquiries and appeals; and alternative dispute resolution.
Lisa was appointed as a part-time commissioner at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) in November 1999 and is currently a senior CCMA commissioner. She is also a part-time commissioner on a number of other private and public service bargaining council panels. She has lectured in law at Varsity College and the School for Paralegal Studies and also conducts training courses on labour legislation.
