Glyn has been a practising attorney since 1983. He is the senior partner at Chennells Albertyn. He has practised in a range of law from constitutional, administrative, environmental and planning law, to commercial, property, labour and human rights law.
His employment law expertise is labour law litigation, conducting disciplinary enquiries, mediations and arbitrations, advising on disciplinary charges and the conduct of disciplinary enquiries, training management and shop-stewards in the conduct of disciplinary enquiries and arbitrations, and writing and editing training material.
Glyns’ environmental and planning law expertise is in environmental litigation, usually for interest and affected parties, whose environmental rights have been infringed, assisting expert environmentalists in preparing reports and affidavits, and interested and affected parties in preparing objections to and appeals against environmental, planning and heritage applications for development rights.
Glyn is also admitted as an attorney in Zimbabwe and Lesotho. He also practised as a Professional Legal Assistant in London and Bedford in the United Kingdom from 1984 to 1988.
Glyn is based in Cape Town.
