Daniel is a part time level A commissioner for the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) and an industrial relations / human resources consultant with extensive experience in industrial relations; training and development; recruitment and placing; and remuneration, benefits and performance management.
Daniel previously worked for National Port Authority (Port Elizabeth) as a Human Resources and Industrial Relations Manager. This involved implementation and maintenance of industrial relations systems and procedures, disciplinary and grievance procedures, negotiating with unions, representing National Ports Authority at Bargaining Council and training of staff amongst others. Daniel was also employed as Group Human Resources Manager for Umcebo Mining. (27 years experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations)
Daniel was a part-time lecturer at Port Elizabeth Technikon in Advanced Labour Relations and Labour Law from 1996 to 1997.
